Pansy's Quilt

This Quilt was made by my Sister in 2003-2004 . She had been diagnosed by Doctors in Cleveland with Cancer but did not know what type it was. She wanted to have something to work on while she was receiving chemo . She did finish the applique blocks and put some of the blocks together before she died in February 2004 .

I was given the instructions to finish her numerous UFO's and distribute them to the nieces and nephews . This was the last one and was not going to anyone except for me. Everything is finished on it except for the binding. I hope I will finish it up this week -end.

Pansy's Quilt
On a side note I have been to the AQS Lancaster Quilt Show this week. I had entered one of my wholecloth quilts titled "Pride and Plumage".

To make a short story even shorter I didn't win any ribbons but had a very enjoyable 4 days with two friends shopping and talking quilting. Next time I will show  the Haul I made at the show
Hope you all have a wonderful week .
Sharon
